Ending was fairly unsatisfying. Agree/disagree?

It’s SK, did you expect a good ending?

I felt like it was better than most SK endings.

Overwhelming consensus here!
That was my first King novel so I didn’t know.
Everything else was fantastic.

The story was interesting and mostly well done, but I came away from it not really liking any of the characters. None of the main ones were at all that relatable or believable. Yeah, the whole story isn't believable, but in most other King books the main characters brought something to the table. And the sex/romance parts of it were full of cringey moments, but that's typical for King.

But all that said, the story kept me interested and entertained.

The only good endings to SK books are the dark tower books 1-6

I just finished it too. I thought the ending kinda limped to the finish line. But I thought the rest of the book was great up until about the last 100 pages or so.

Not to hijack, what's everyone's opinion on the mini-series with James Franco? I was thinking of watching it this weekend.

It's okay. The timeline is different from the book, and they omitted some stuff. I didn't hate it, but I got bored with it a few times.

No doubt. To end it a more interesting way would have required 200-300 more pages.
