WIll do... I will do it on my PC here to try it out. Once I know what i am doing I will have to do it again at home on the PC that will be dedicated for Plex. I will start doing my research on step 1, thanks! :cheers:

and CAD, it isn't a hardware issue on my end, when my server is at my home base it is fine and remotely streams 4k no problem.

The issue is the internet at the apartment i am staying at. I do not have access to the router to properly setup the port. it took many weeks of dealing with their IT in emails to get it where it is now.."working" but not streaming anything higher that 480p unless I am on the same network as the server.

It works fine for me in the apartment, but looks like DVD quality for anyone watching it remotely. So I want to try to set up my server back at home where i can properly configure it but still be able to access it from here to add content to it.

How can I setup my Plex server where I can remotely add content or automatically add requested /new content. My dilemma is this...

I am currently working in Indiana, my Plex server is with me, but the apartment I am staying in provides the internet so it has been a pain to get it working remotely. I have it working for now but it streams in like 480p remotely. Is it possible to set up my server back at home where it can be without restrictions and access and add content to it while I am in Indiana?

Im getting a lot more ads than I ever had before and the site is running like shite on my phone the last month or so, not sure if the two are related.

-It doesnt scroll well, will just stop while I am scrolling and then jump down.

-I cant scroll through twitter embeds,if I stop on one and it is taking up the whole screen, have to back out of thread, wont scroll up or down.

I thought some of this was phone related but i got a new phone last week and its still the same.
