I finally hit the 50% mark on the book. Watching the % left in book slowly slowly change as I read it on Kindle is wild. I am really enjoying it though.

68%. It was hard to put down last night. Looking forward to the next few days because it’s getting real good.

I had the same issue last night in not being able to stop reading. Not sure that I got quite as far as you are, but I'm in the same general vicinity. I have a love/hate relationship with Hadrian getting a "win." I'm mentally pumping my fist while simultaneously keeping my head on a swivel knowing something worse is on the way.

I finished last night. I’ll make a spoiler thread today or tomorrow for when others finish.

On the book challenge thread I said my goal was 10,000 pages this year. Just totaled them up and I'm over 12,000 so far. That's a new record for me.

I've seen people call Sun Eater a "tough read",

The series doesn't get interesting until the end of book two. Itt isn't bad, just doesn't take off for a long while

Loved it though.

My goal was 50 books but I won’t make it. I need a break after finishing Suneater. Technically I’m at 48 but my conscience won’t let me count the Murderbot books as individual books. Maybe 2 books since the fifth was a decent sized novel.

Don’t want to be a Debbie downer for anyone mod-read…but I’m struggling with the back half of Shadows Upon Time. Kind of speed reading it right now to get to the end. A little too metaphysical and up and down for my tastes.

Finished it. Pretty dissatisfied with the conclusion.

I'm planning on reading this one once I'm done with Expeditionary Force.

I’ve seen this series mentioned several times here. 19 books in the series seems a little extreme. Is it worth it? I started the first book last night and I’m on chapter 3.

I did the audio version since I drive a lot and yes, worth it. They are very entertaining. Keep going, it gets really good. Starts kind of slow in the first book.

Whew! Solid year man.

Just finished Carl's Doomsday Scenario. Took me longer than I hoped because I've had a lot going on but yea this series is a blast. Mrs. Iwy just finished book one on audible and is loving it. I'm starting book 3 tonight but going to start the series over on audible because it's so good.

Does the narrator voice Princess Donut as well? That is bonkers if that is him as well.

I think what I like most about his writing style is that he is clearly just a dude. Like he's just a baw off of tigerdroppings that decided to write a series.

There are two guest narrators that each voice a specific character, one for book 3 and the other for book 7. The second one is very recognizable. With the exception of those two, Jeff Hays voices every character.

Make sure you read the note Dinniman put at the beginning of the book. Do not try to figure out the iron tangle it’s made to be way too confusing. Just enjoy the action. Seen alot of people like this one least because the tangle took them out of it.

It was a little slow at first. It picked up when he started talking to the burgermeister. He just met Skippy and now I’m hooked.

I really enjoyed the tainted cup. I just finished the strength of the few today, and enjoyed that also. I have no idea what I want to jump into now. Iron Prince and sequel is the funniest read I have had over last few years.

25% through and enjoying it. The series itself is rather metaphysical, so I’m not surprised. It’s very well received on goodreads, so hopefully I enjoy the finale as much as I’ve enjoyed the series as a whole.

The Tainted Cup has a sequel or two for it I think, haven't read up on them because I don't think I'm going to keep going with it.

I'm halfway through book 3 in DCC so I'm going to finish it straight through but I'm really looking forward to reading Kings of the Wyld. Hearing really good things about it.

Haven't heard of Iron Prince, I'll have to look that up.
