Just a heads up, there is an early showing in IMAXs on March 16 at 7pm local time. Tickets are available if you link a Fandango account (free) with Amazon Prime.

I just picked up the book this past weekend. It was highly recommended by friends and coworkers. It's apparently an excellent story

It’s an excellent book and the best audiobook I’ve ever listened to. Early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and I expect WOM to help this one out. Everybody should plan to see it in IMAX because all the space scenes were shot for the bigger screen.

I hated the bum that started the farm on his grandma’s property the most. The gay neighbors were ridiculous though

I read the books after the last season aired. Really looking forward to see how they handle Shift. They are filming the final two seasons simultaneously so we shouldn’t haven’t a long wait between next season and the final season.

New episode is available.
Thank for the heads up. I was very close to renting The Secret Agent yesterday. Heard great things about it.
Finale drops an hour early tonight at 7pm CST

As much as Sheridan has become a meme cant take away what he did with those films (this, sicario, wind river)

His new contract with NBC includes an 8-year deal for movies that starts next month. Hopefully he lets ChatGPT finish his paramount shows and concentrates on making good movies again.
The best part of this initiative is the $3.50 they spent on the graphic designs.

Burning Shireen was pretty ridiculous. His entire army would have left him immediately. Nothing quite like rallying the troops with the burning of a child princess.

I think he does it solely because it’s a retelling of King Agamemnon sacrificing his daughter so the Greeks could sail to Troy.

Stannis is about to win the battle against the Bolton’s after the Bolton army falls through the ice. I assume he sends for his family after that and has to sacrifice her before the next battle that he eventually loses.
The series will premiere on PBS starting March 22.

I loved the 2002 version. I never knew the 2024 one existed. What about 1975 version?

The 2024 version is in French. The new series is technically a joint French/Italian venture but all the dialogue is in English.

I should have clarified that it was the best adaptation I watched. I read the novel last year and watched the two most recent movies and the series after. After that I was pretty burnt out on the story to keep watching more versions of it.

Not sure if anybody is caught up so I’ll be vague with my comments. Camille is making some frustrating decisions. She is quickly becoming everything she hated about her father.

I hate whoever decided Issei dealing with his mommy issues would be compelling television. It doesn’t seem like they knew what to do with him this season. I miss the competitive aspect of season 1.
I’m glad Dune is finished. Hopefully it’s too late to screw up The Batman 2. Paramount is about to run this property into the ground.
