I've been reading Yonder Stands Your Orphan by Barry Hannah for almost two weeks. I just haven't been able to really get into it.

Just read:
I Am Pilgrim
13 Hours
Ghost Wars

Forge of Darkness - the first in the Kharkanas trilogy by Steven Erikson.

It’s a prequel that follows much of the earlier days for the Tiste Andii like young adult Anomander Rake.

Started Reliquary tonight. I'm on a big Preston & Child kick right now. This is the 2nd in a long series of Agent Pendergast stories. I'm going to work my way through the whole series.

Have started The Illiad. Beautiful prose by Homer. I do wonder how much is a genuine account, and how much is fake

Just finished The First Commandment by Brad Thor and starting Juror Number 3 by James Patterson.

Got an Amazon gift card for Christmas and will be knocking books off my wish list soon.

Great book. Read that one about this time last year. I wish he had more books out there.

Currently reading Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin.

I love hearing/reading about all these NM towns and history. I have been to every corner of the state so it is like a trip down memory lane. He gets the people spot on too.

What do you mean about this? I'm interested in New Mexico as well, but have little familiarity with its people.
