I like the hire, he did beat Fla this year. Take a chance and fire his arse if it doesn't work out.

that is not much of an accomplishment

Beating Boise was more impressive imo

I was just listing his resume and pointing out that many people have said Golesh is the best hire of this cycle (mostly vol and bama fans).

I wasn’t really making an argument, more of an observation of facts and other people’s opinions

What was the record the two seasons before he took over?

so he flipped a shitty roster with lower rated Florida talent and massive nil (compared to his competition) and turned it into a 7 win team.

They are 10-1 and likely headed for the playoffs with a QB nobody heard of last year. That’s pretty impressive.

They are going to be 11-1 after Friday. I’m not sure which team you are talking about.

But has he proven to be the best candidate?

Easily.

Lane has brought Ole Miss 4 seasons with a win percentage over .750. in the past 6 years.

Before Kiffin, Ole Miss had 3 seasons with a win percentage over .750 since 1970.

I'd say that's pretty good.
