Yea that's what they said about Urban Meyer's offense. His offense will work anywhere. All he has to do in the SEC is have a running game to go with it and a defense that can get off the field.

Hire Leach and watch our RBs run for the hills

His offense won't work in the SEC

Mike Leach takes average players, and makes the no 7 ranked offence in the country. Think what he could do with 4 and 5 star players, backed up by a good D. Gramm Harrell was a average QB in high school, I bet he would be a great OC here.Dosent look like he was makin alot of money at TT. He will land on his feet.

His scheme + our players = BCS #3 and #4.
Seriously.
His scheme is based on the QB getting rid of the ball quickly with short routes. He has been running the ball better and with our athletes would be awesome. Our biggest problem this year was JJ holding on to the ball too long (either waiting until someone was WIDE open as to avoid a pick or Crowton's plays taking too long to develop). Anything that gets our QB to get rid of the ball faster is great with me.

His offense won't work in the SEC. You missed last year's Cotton Bowl I take it.
You mean the offense that put 34 points on Ole Miss? They lost to Ole Miss because their Defense sucked monkey balls. Ignorant people like you say this crap all the time and give no basis or reasons as to why it wouldn't work. If that offense can do what it's done at Texas Tech, Houston, Tulsa, Troy, etc with their athletes then how much more could that offense work with athletes that are 3X's the players that those schools have at their disposal? Failure to see this is plan stupid.

Leach will be taking time off and relaxing a year or two after settling for some $$$ from T. Tech. This will cost them. They miscalculated this thing.
