re: Taysom Hill replacement

Most teams in nfl history don’t have a “Swiss army knife.”

Despite him being a great option having a Swiss Army knife didn’t exactly bring massive franchise success.

If you find a unique player like Taysom great, if not you’re probably going to be just fine with a competent organization.

I always enjoyed the movie, but the book was nowhere near the movie.

I don’t know if I could disagree with an opinion more regarding a book/ movie

I’ve listened to the audiobook probably 5x. I thought the movie was absolute horseshite and didn’t deserve the same title.
frick this guy. Yall legit need help

We can be the worst team in the league year in and year out and all it takes is for a guy to say “ I love New Orleans” and people want to run it back. Hilarious at this point

No truer words ever spoken on here

For the last 15 years, Berman was like an old Jewish comic playing out the string in the Catskills; just relying on the same old schtick.

It still works though. My two boys love it just like I did 30 years before.
One of the more interesting things about drafting love potentially is the unquantifiable benefit having a player of his caliber has on the development of Shough. I wonder how much that kind of benefit impacts potentially taking a player like him in the eyes of the coaching staff.
Good luck today guys.

Honestly think y'all get this pretty easily unless Xhaka drags everyone along. You’re a much hungrier dog right now. We’re beat to shite at the back and up top and seem to be content to just grab a couple more draws and throw the sink at the scum in a few weeks.
His first year he completely missed I believe with a lisfranc. He was beat up in 2024.

Beanie babies WERE for millennials.

Millennials are 45 years old on the upper end.
I’ve heard the jags as an organization has taken a complete 180 in terms of culture.

AF While it is, I also don't think it's inaccurate. "Home internet" started really becoming a thing in 1997. We hit the 50% saturation mark in... 2001. Home internet exploding combined with 9/11 is a 1-2 punch seismic shift that's kind of hard to ignore. A kid born in the early-ish to mid-90s didn't just have different cultural preferences than a kid born in the early-ish to mid-80s; they grew up in a completely different world.

Yeah I don’t disagree, just thought it was ironic that a group railing against being labeled as a millennial or whatever would be concerned about this.

There’s just overlap. Functionally my childhood,HS, even college wasn’t any different than someone born in 1976 save for maybe a slight better cable box/video game system.

Nothing more Millenial than you trying to identify as something you aren’t.

I’m right in that cohort being born in early 81. When I heard that early-mid 40s people were coming up with their own “micro generation” it sounded millennial AF

As someone who never logged on to AoL until my freshman year at LSU and parents in their mid 80s it’s just a pointless title.

This is the music board. Everything posted is either old arse southern rock, unpopular songs by popular bands, or posters using abbreviations for unpopular bands like the whole world knows who they are

I’ll throw Local H in here. One of the more genuine 90s grunge era bands to me. Enjoyed them long after their two radio hits.

So fricking stupid.

Like if you don’t think rb is that valuable regardless of the talent that’s one thing.

It’s another to make ridiculous hot take comments like this about guys who have vision, size, speed, strength, and hands.
My daughter’s soccer team has lost every finals they’ve ever been to. She handles it exceedingly well and I know when they finally get one it’s going to mean a lot more. It’s definitely made her more self motivated and that’s all you can really ask for out of youth sports.

This dude reminded me of someone who would be on Thursday night Thunder circa 1999.

Alabama just beat Tennessee in Knoxville so bow down and settle His last world title match in Chicago, the arena shook. This was a very meh reaction in comparison, especially considering it’s his first match with WWE there in 13 years and he’s the champ. Just calling it like I see it.

We’re a LONG way from the “If Punk loses we riot” Chicago pop.

I kind of suggested something like this in another thread, but Trump does not need to be involved in the least IMO

If nothing else Trump is pretty good at getting people to a table and having they hammer shite out. I don’t think it’s great that he’s involved but I’d almost rather him who at least has an interest in sports over a ton of congress who don’t have the foggiest idea about business OR sports.
