To even be considered, he'd have to beat Arky along with everyone else this year. Would that be worth it to you?

Oregon will be LSU's version of Mike Dubose if they hire him.
Dubose was a fan favorite at UA and a good position coach and part of the good ol' boy network. There was even a fax campaign by fans for the hiring of Mike Dubose.
He was not ready to be the coach at UA, prob not a HC at any major school.
This Ed Orgeron movement reminds me of that, to a T.
So yes, I hope he is hired.
BTW, Dubose did win the SEC ('99), including beating Spurrier at UF 2x in the same season (at the Swamp and in SECCG) and went to the Orange Bowl where UA lost to Tom Brady and UM in OT in his last game.
He also got caught boning his secretary and lost to LSU at BR for the first time in about 20 years, started out ranked #3 and only won about 3 games in 2000, and didn't help things for when the NCAA came investigating.
