I'm not the least bit worried about losing Saban. I know a lot more than any of you dumbasses do. LSU fans are beginning to look like the most desperate and delusional fans in college football.

Most rational LSU fans will tell you they know Saban won't leave. People on here are just scared because they know what he's capable of at Alabama. You will never get them to admit this though.

You sir are an idiot. My information is not second hand. And for you to say she had not so nice things to say about BR is you just making up shite for a reply. When she comes back to BR she isn't with Bama people she is with LSU people and when LSU plays in Bama her LSU friends are at her house and your radio stations and your fans hate that. In fact it's well documented how Bama people get upset that she associates with LSU people. Fact is she has no privacy in Alabama and she hates it and you don't want to admit it.

Just curious, how do you know the Sabans.

I think Saban has grown a lot as a coach and a professional since the mistake he made leaving LSU. I don't, however, think he would divulge his plans and interests to any other indivuals hold Terry and Sexton. There may very well be a few schools that would be able to go in a take him from Bama. He certainly would not tell ANY media personnel or even "close" family friends if he had a wish to be any where other than Bama. The Alabama media and fans would absolutely terrorize him looking for an answer.
If I were a Bama fan, a NC this year would be a blessing and a curse. His track record indicates why.

He was much younger then. He's almost 60 years old now
It was five years ago.....
Edit: i've figured it out you're a fifteen year old kid aren't you? five year seem like a long time to me at that age also.

i'm sure he is not leaving any time soon BUT...if you know so much and are so confident in everything why are you wasting your time in a dumbass thread like this........who cares what random fans think

I think he gets amusement out of these responses. Or maybe that's just me.

What exactly do you know more than us Tiger fans?
Do you really think by virtue of being an Alabama fan that you have been magically transformed from the hillbilly hick that you are, into an intellectual being? Think again, Gomer!
And though you may be dumb as a doorknob, I still hope Bama wins a national title so Nick can move on to another challenge. Then the Tigers can get back to bustin ya'll arse on the field again.

Do you honestly think a 60 year old man is going to leave one of the best jobs in the nation to rebuild another team?
If he left, it wouldn't be to rebuild. It would be for guaranteed success to cement legendary legacy status. To do something no other coach has ever done. He could easily do that with two jobs I mentioned.
As far as Saban's comments since he left, he had some pretty open and honest comments while visiting a hospital in New Orleans before the Sugar Bowl last year. Every paper in the state carried the quotes. He flat out said that he loved it when he was in LA and regretted leaving. He's admitted in the media that he made a mistake leaving for the Dolphins. None of that means anything now, because anyone with sense knows he wouldn't come back here, but that doesn't mean the man wants to burn Baton Rouge. It just means that you are a reactionary idiot that likes to flame.
Penn State is a joke. Why the hell would Saban leave to go there? That situation has no appeal beyond a weaker conference. Contrary to what some LSU fans think about Saban, it isn't just the money. It's the challenge and prestige that can feed the ego. PSU doesn't have the prestige of Bama, especially now. USC does.

I agree with those that think that Coach Saban thrives on the challenge and the rebuilding of programs. I don't know him personally and couldn't begin to guess what he will do, but from the actions that he has taken in the past, here is my opinion (since you asked):
If Alabama wins the BCS Title game, I think that part of him will feel that he has accomplished what no other coach has been able to do in a long time. I think that if Mark Ingram wins the Heisman, he will definitely feel like he has succeeded at Alabama and will look for a new challenge over the next year or 2. Notre Dame would be a great program for him to take over because they have plenty of money to buy out his contract and they have fallen below mediocrity. People will say "Even Nick Saban needs 4 or 5 years to turn this program around" and he'll try to do it in 2-3 years. Same situation with Penn State...they aren't as irrelevant as ND at this point, but they haven't won a championship in forever either...With such a storied program, you'd expect more.
If Alabama does not win the BCS Title game, I think that he will stick around for a few more years. I think that he wants another crystal trophy and he can get it at Alabama. Though ND and Penn State may or may not have replaced their coaches by that point, there may be an NFL team that he is willing to try again.
Egomaniac? Not an Egomaniac? Money-grubber? Not a Money-grubber? I don't know... I respect his ability to recruit and I respect his knowledge of defense. Do I think that it was kind of a low-life thing the way he came back to coach in the SEC versus his old team? Sure, but you have to admit that he is a good coach.
Congratulations on a great season and thanks for making Tebow cry...

After this huge win, I think he's here for good. There's no way he leaves. Just curious what other people think.
no way he leaves this year I have no clue what might happen after that and I have no reason to think he would ever leave.....but if you think big wins are more likely to keep him you are not paying attention to his personality. It seems obvious to me he is one of those people that gets antsy after a while like one of those people that date all the time but never settle down...they love the chase....as far as his job he loves the chase he gets bored and restless once the mountain is climbed, and he is not as focused trying to climb it again. There is nothing wrong with being this way lots of people are like this but it doesn't make for lots of long term stays.
Furthermore just like has happened here and would happen anywhere the newness of being on top will wear off you guys over there will soon get back to taking winning for granted and people won't be so in awe...Saban has a very abrasive personality not knocking him it's one of the things I liked about him and one of the reasons he can succeed in these high profile jobs, but it tends to sour working relationships and pretty soon people stop "buying in 100%" to his deal and he gets tired of dealing with it.
If anything big wins make it more likely that he will leave not less. Saban is a fixer I personally think he will never be long term happy anywhere sitting back winning ten games a year every year and every few years getting a shot at the title. He is no Mack Brown or papa Bowden….he is like the anti Mack brown (this is a compliment)….in my opinion he needs the drama of restoring or fixing something and he gets bored without it.
Now he easily could be the coach at Alabama 25 years from now and I personally don't think he would leave just for money or whatever. But I do think in a few years once the challenge of "restoring Alabama to glory" is done then he will start to get restless and the people he has to deal with daily will get tired of him and he will get tired of them and he will start to look for something else...who the hell knows what that something else will be.
It’s kind of funny that instead of just enjoying the great year you guys are having and the general good state of your program you are spending your time over he taunting LSU fans….if I didn’t know better I’d almost say you sound a little insecure. But that can’t be the case since you are best friends with nick and know everything….

No, he'll definitely wait until after the BCS game.
