I love how Bama folks act like Saban was a "good fit" in Alabama. Saban isn't a good fit anywhere. He's an awkward guy, outside of football, and has the personality of an unpainted wall. Who gives a frick though because HE WINS. As does Kelly, in that respect. I am not worried about the culture side of it. Get players, develop them, and win. Everything else will fall in to place

You haven’t spent much time in WV, obviously. Saban is from about as podunk town as you can get. Redneck city. Would make Kaplan look like a metropolis.

Funny how an article by some hack turns into all Bama fans. I'm Bama fan and no one I know is scared of Brian Kelly or LSU. I think you guys hired one of the top 5 coaches in the country. Wayyyy better than LR. He will bring you back up to top 2-3 conference team every year. He should have y'all in the playoff conversation every year. Probably the best coaching hire in the last 10 years.

I work in Tuscaloosa and I would say this is a perfect way to describe how Bama fans have reacted to the CBK hire. They are stunned and keep saying, “I can’t believe that he left Notre Dame!”
