I get it, believe me. But in my particular case, I stated multiple times to take it with a grain of salt.

Seems as if O is still trying to bring Freeze in, but he just hasn’t built up that level of trust from the BOS.

Well the BOS is dumb if the options in front of them are Freeze and Ensminger and they got with Ensminger.

I wish I had more than one upvote to give... the difference between how that idiot sees football in terms of school revenue possibilities compared to Alabama’s president is all you need to know. LSU is destroying itself.

Honestly the biggest concern with all of this is if the relationship between Canada and Aranda,will it play a factor?

Does LSU have to pay this dude a buyout? I hope not because if they do then that probably almost guarantees Ensminger hire. I personally think he'd be horrible on so many fronts. Firstly, it's deceptive on his number when he was OC. They were only good against teams without ANY pulse on defense. It's also terrible for recruiting because no star is going to come in and say, "we want to play for this stud Ensminger". Also, Ensminger is not going to fix the QB recruiting. He's an average recruiter at best. We need someone in here that can get blue chips excited I want to play in that system. Ensminger would be a hire for all the wrong reasons.
His only serious consideration should be if every candidate they interviewed said "no". An Ensminger hire is just keeping the "good ole boys" network going that continues to drive this program downward.
We're already running into the same issues in recruiting Miles had here. No QB in this class on a roster that will probably have maybe 3 next year. 1 that has 2 bad knees. The other keeps getting tossed down the depth chart so I wouldn't be shocked to see him leave. Plenty of super star blue chip skill position players though! It's obvious the reason why. We don't have enough recruiting that is selling the idea you can come in and have all this amazing talent around you. How hard can that be to sell if you have a good recruiter? Freeze is actually a home run hire but that guy has way too much baggage. No way will they hire him. As far as OC and recruiting goes, he'd probably be as good as you can get right now. He probably won't stay long either if someone was willing to give him HC with his baggage.
We had a stud in this year's recruiting class at QB in LA and nobody on this staff could lock him down.

That was Cam's offense. Granted Steve was much better at it but I'm not sure he's shown that he can install his own scheme. At least he hasn't in 20 years
