Playing LSU, Florida, and Georgia is not typically a schedule people would mock...

Nice stats.
Amazing how people get on here and bash a possible hire when one of the winningest coaches in history is the one making the decisions.

quote:you've melted like a bitch on most things since the Kelly hire and you're telling someone to not be stupid?
He's also working with Kentucky which is a step above the Vanderbilts of the world. It would be a homerun hire. Don't be stupid.

Last time we gambled on some fella because of speculation about his mediocre accomplishments with inferior talent, Dinardo wasn’t exactly a home run.
Can we stop with this? Dinardo's last two years were bad, no question. But he walked into a complete dumpster fire (significantly worse than today) and immediately had three straight winning seasons. We needed a culture change and he provided it. No doubt this laid the foundation for Saban to build on.

I've melted on most things eh? Care to point them out? Only thing I haven't liked from Kelly is letting Raymond go and questioning the Cooks hire. I said I wouldn't like a Denbrock hire either, which hasn't been done yet. I don't think his scheme fits well with LSU, he's overrated as hell as an OC, and we don't have the personnel to run his scheme on the roster. We definitely can't run the heavier TE sets. His stance on recruiting, hitting the transfer portal, the coaches retained, his DC hire, etc. I've all agreed with. Nothing else he has done I've melted over. Most is hyperbole. It's okay you don't have to agree with everything a coach does. Just because you have a little hive mind doesn't mean questioning a few things a coach does = melt. The takes on here for White are melting.
This is just a stupid take full of ignorance. I can tell most people on this board do not watch much of college ball outside LSU. If you want to question White this is not the way to do it. You can argue from a Stoops angle maybe but if you looked at this guy's career you'll see he has been productive everywhere he has been. Kentucky got better with him there. Hmm is that a coincidence? Maybe but it's something that gives a positive sign he's as good as we want with low end talent he was working with too. Look at some of the LBs he developed there. At absolute worst you're getting a great LB developer. Stoops obviously trusts him with the scheme.
If they keep Baker then our LBs will be probably the biggest strength on the team or at least they'll get the most out of w/e talent they have.

Elko's numbers are in the West, and White's are in the East. The East may as well be the ACC.

If White is the choice I'm all in with him. I would hope we at least check on Derek Mason.

Didn’t he also have a co-DC at KY that was added in 2021 & just got a head coaching job?
