So, you're simply saying its okay to give him all of the contact with the program, but don't give him a label? This is getting laughable. Less than a month ago, Baylor said Briles and former athletic director Ian McCaw were informed of a female athlete's allegations of a gang rape by five football players, and none passed along the information to proper authorities, as required by federal law.
Feritta's comments last week to The Houston Chronicle and his pressure to get Briles may ultimately hurt Briles more than staying silent. After an ESPN report that Houston would interview Briles, the school was forced to make a definitive statement. It was a statement many people have privately thought regarding Briles' chances to coach again and now will publicly stick with him for a long time.
So UH knows he shouldn't be interviewed but LSU should be dumb enough to do it?

Why don't we just appoint Ensminger OC? Let's get this shite show on steroids so all of you can whine next year about how we don't have an offense, "Uh, what's going on, did we hire Miles back?" Yep, I can hear the whining now. But some are comfortable with 8-4 every year. If that's the case, we should have just kept Miles and enjoyed getting drunk pre-game....

IDK, I think I'd rather Briles than Kiffin. What Briles did offensively at Baylor was amazing. For the last 5 years of his tenure at Baylor he had a top 2 nationally ranked offense.

Nope didn't say that at all. That's your lack of reading comprehension trying to spin things. I said they aren't the same title/position which is true. I also said why would we want to resort to being on the same level as auburn. So no i never said we should or i approved of hiring him as a consultant for any team. I said the job descriptions are different, and my point was we were talking about him being offered an OC position somewhere, which he hasn't.

If LSU fires Art Briles I will build an effigy of Briles. Next I will put all of my LSU merchandise under said effigy. I will then cover it all in lighter fluid and set it on fire.
