Interesting… she’s only taken two cases to a jury in 4 years to my knowledge.
DA will be afraid of the jury trial so she’ll plead to some BS and get a few years probation

Home warranty company will band aide a wet turd to get out of replacing equipment. If they are forced to replace, expect the cheapest option possible. They are OK to use when you don’t really have options, (new to the area and don’t have any knowledge of local contractors or just new to homeownership in general) but avoid them if you can.

I’m guessing the hacker thing would be a vulnerability to your network. If you can access the dishwasher from outside of your home then they could potentially use that to get inside as a trusted device.
I can also see a use case for loading breakfast dishes and going about my day assuming I’d run it after supper. Plans change, yada yada yada, want my coffee/favorite mug etc in the morning and decide to hit start while I’m finishing up at the bar that evening or whatever…. Lost in all this is the fact that she is still able to practice law. Simply removed from the bench.
