Yeah, and his counterpart Jimmy Ott told us several months ago that Terri Sabin was running around with a realtor in Baton Rouge buying a house. At least 50% of the rantards are more reliable than our local talk radio geniuses.

this was before he went to Bama. And I have to say that it's true to some extent b/c they went as far as enrolling their daughter into SJA...that's fact!

Just to clarify, this is what was said by a caller claiming to have legitimate sources:
1. Miles to Michigan
2. Pelini to Nebraska
3. Saban to LSU
In response, Buddy said "I can tell you that I know for sure that one of those is correct."
After a few tidbits, Buddy went ahead and leaked that the "one thing he knows for sure" is Miles is going to Michigan early next week and Miles already has spoken to his new defensive coordinator and it is not Pelini. He said he really didn't want to get into this discussion this week and take away the focus from the SECCG because this will all come out in the wash early next week.
Buddy did not confirm Pelini or Saban being done deals, ONLY that LSU won't have the same head coach next week. He did, however, confirm that Saban is in the mix and there is a mutual interest between some folks at LSU and Saban and the deal that is being talked about is in the range of $3 million per year with a very large buyout.

are yall listening to this??? Songy thinks that Saban has already been contacted and said that Saban has privately said he would come back to LSU and coach for $3 mill a year and a huge buyout.

JPL has the best breakdown of it.
But Scarborough, who was on the show, did say that they guy he knows at Nebraska with the best sources said it really looked like Pelini to Neb.

The scariest thing was it sounded from listening to that show that there was way too many damned hands in the pot trying to influence who would be hired next. Isn't that the way things were done back in the bad old days?

There is no way LSU hires a coach without hiring a consultant and seeing who is interested. To think that LSU will just hire Saban quickly is as outrageous as Songy and Charlie Weis only eating from the salad bar at Jason's Deli!!

Be careful...I was listening to the show and Buddy DID NOT SAY THE SABAN THING about the contract, that was a caller. Buddy DID indicate that Sabans name was in the mix, interested parties, etc.
He DID say that Miles is gone, and we will be happy with new HC. Big surprise.
