Thing is, that won't matter after next year. Coaching in the weak ACC >>>>> coaching in tSEC West.

Must be why 4 of the 6 SECW teams have been to a BCS bowl the last 2 years while only 3 of the 12 ACC teams have been to a BCS bowl the last 5 years.

Keep saying it, you'll still have no idea what you're talking about.

On the #Auburn front: Not much has changed. Gus Malzahn and Jimbo Fisher are the names I am hearing the most.

This would be another huge mistake on the part of Jay Jacobs. No defense for another "___" years until he's finally fired. We'll also probably be recruiting a bunch more garbage quarterbacks to go along with Tyrik Rollison, Zeke Pike, Clint Moseley, and Kiehl Frazier.

I CAN'T WAIT!

Success?

Isn't the goal to get to a BCS bowl?

Looks like SECW has been doing that a hell of a lot more than the ACC.

No legitimacy at all? Why would he leave a conference on the growth with ND coming in and a relatively easy path to a BCS game every year? All he has to do is beat a few ACC pansies and VTech and he's in.....no way he jumps to the minor league of the NFL.

Jimbo thinks differently quote: "I think it stinks. I think the BCS and how we go with all these computers and all this stuff, I think we're ruining it," Fisher said. "I'm going to tell you what, the [impending] playoff which we have right now ain't going to solve it either. What's the playoff going to solve? I mean you've still got the same situation. They've got to change how we pick the top teams in this country.

I've given it some thought and have come up with the perfect solution to all of the cry baby anti-SEC folks. It's the "Gladiator Format".

This is how it would work:

Flip coins to match conference vs. conference play.

Each conference selects the 3 best teams in their conference and they play best record out of the 3 games.

Last conference standing is the Champion.

Can you imagine the carnage the SEC would lay at the doorstep of the other conferences?

The reason why the SEC is better than other conferences is because they are top to down better. The top 3 from every major conference would be some very good, close games.

If by "every major conference" you mean "the SEC, Big 12, and PAC-12", then sure. Our #6 would dismantle the Big East champion or the B1G champion. FSU (and maybe Clemson) is the only one in the ACC that would put up a fight.

I love the SEC nut hugging and how some of you idiots predict games. "No chance"..."blown out"..."carnage."

It's hilarious. Yes, the SEC is the best conference in the nation right now. And yes, there are many teams that would be extremely competitive if they were in the SEC.
