Texas State (they'll be in the WAC soon enough and alot of Leach & Fran chatter already)

It may be kind of shocking but there really is a lot of chatter down here in san marcos about it. I go to school there and there is a lot of high hopes for him being our HC. I really don't think he would stoop down to this level, but TSU just got into the WAC, there renovating there stadium which is adding 30k seats on to the stadium, and were up near 40k students. I mean UTSA just got into the WAC as well you do know who their coach is....former Miami championship coach Larry Coker.... . It's not as "funny" or unrealistic as you think it is

Fran coached at SWT, so there's some ties there already. Leach apparently isnt going to get a look at a big D-1 school this year, the WAC is exactly what he needs to get back in the loop.

And if I hear it on the Square, I know it's got some weight. Plus, I think running into Leach at the Wind or Nephews would be about the best thing ever

Leach is going to hold out for a bigger job than Texas St.

They're not even joining the WAC until 2012. So that means, in 2011, they're still in the Southland. Mike Leach is not going to be coaching in the Southland Conference....regardless of their future plans. That's the biggest pipedream I've read to date on this board.

Top 3 names I'd like to see at LSU:
OC-Dana Holgorsen or Gus Malzahn
DC-Will Muschamp

Some people say they are happy with Chavis. It is apparent that Chavis struggles against this spread. Struggles with Florida and Ole Miss this season. Arkansas tore the defense apart.

I don't even need to say anything about OC.

Though I don't think Muschamp or Malzhan are likely to leave. Thought I heard Muschamp say the only 2 schools he'd consider leaving Texas for would be LSU or Georgia.

Jon Embree will be introduced as Colorado's new football coach on Monday morning.
Embree, was the Washington Redskins tight ends coach.

Side note: Eric Bieniemy, Minnesota Vikings Running Backs Coach looks to end up as Embree's offensive coordinator.

Both have locked in 5-year deals.

Locksley has a big buy-out clause...like a Million or so. NM has no money to do that.
