I completely agree, and that's where I thought this was going to go, and I'm still not convinced it won't go that way. He just says these very high up money people are all in with Jimbo, for whatever reason. And they're the ones buying out Les' contract.
Someone, either LSU or Sexton, will eventually have to blink. And if Chip reached out to LSU, my next conversation with Sexton would be to tell him exactly that, and take it or leave it. But I'm not these rich retards.

Agree. Jimbo seems like the 'safe' home run hire. Kelly has some attitude and question marks, but is a name that you definitely use as leverage on Sexton. I don't think the deal is dead. Sexton is posturing and everyone shouldve expected this. Call Kelly and Herman and have them on deck for the next phone call to Sexton.

I'm not sure Alleva has the overhead view that a bystander has. He's being crucified in the media now. Big money has made it obvious who they want. If this goes south, the anchor gets wrapped around one man's neck. I don't think a Fedora hire pleases the masses and alleva will be left holding the bag.
