Shut up Andy
just saying tough to hate on wade "not winning much" when they hired a nepo baby, I get the timing for them sucked but a 5 year deal? Ehhhhhhh

better than hiring someone with no resume simply because daddy wanted him to have the job huh? Idiot

Guess what: whether you are average or horrible, the bottomline is you are irrelevant.
in CBB this is false. It's a sport almost completely built around its postseason and the fun of playing in tournament games.
It's not a championship or bust sport due to the flawed nature of how it crowns its champion.

or maybe it was just consistently winning at a school that has mostly been mediocre too bad in basketball
You dumb dumbs keep moving the goalposts on wade, no one acts like he's this elite coach destined to hang multiple NC banners....but the fans liked him and he won more consistently than the coaches who preceded him and sure as shite was better than the current dipshit.
I want LSU to consistently be relevant in March and wade was doing that. McMahon can't even keep LSU relevant once we hit conference play, yet you continue to suck his dick and hate wade. It's bizarre

I don’t understand how so many LSU fans cannot comprehend how much more earning potential MBB has over baseball
Jay can win the next 5 NCs and one or two successful basketball seasons would still out profit it by a wide margin. Many of you may prefer baseball and that’s fine but a decent to good MBB is worth way more to the school than being elite in baseball
We don’t have to pick one or the other but if we did MBB should get priority

I could see one making that argument if MM had shown any signs in previous seasons of being on the cusp.... but he hasn't. So, it's tough to convince me 1 player is responsible for this shite.
and if his roster is that fricking fragile after 4 years that still falls on him.

I'm not sure how even the staunchest MM fans can even defend the dude at this point
Do they really believe even with a healthy Thomas this team is even on the bubble?
He hasn't generated any kind of buzz at all since getting here, one blah season and the rest total shite. We're only having this discussion due to our fat arse former AD giving him more years than necessary because 'LOOMING SANCTIONS!" so it's more of a financial discussion than merit based.

just live in such an odd time, these people are so fricking wrapped up in their ideology, that they can't even enjoy something like that win. How miserable do you have to be?

He was winning at a consistent level like few have in his program's history and connected with the fans
Wade wasn't perfect but he was a damn good fit here and was building a solid program here
You aren't pulling from a blue blood here, so you're looking at wade with trying our hand on someone from the smaller conferences, which are a pretty mixed bag of success. This program cannot afford another misfire; you hire the guy that's proved he can win here and is still insanely popular with the fan base.

MM for all intents and purposes is a nice guy, I'm doing to delude myself into believing he's simply going to bat for someone he may have a personal relationship with
No sane individual can rationalize lastnight's OT win over a fellow shitty team as any kind of sign this dipshit is making progress. He's in his fourth season, the fact that you're celebrating such a meaningless W tells you all you need to know about his tenure here

well its a shite draft for QBs so if you're stuck in QB purgatory he's worth a roll of the dice I guess because you're unlikely to get a quality starter
chris you truly are the master of long winded, pointless, rambling posts

Id say I’m done if he’s retained..but the program has basically been dead to me the last 2 seasons under this dork anyway.

That cheap bastard would probably move the bengals for a smooth hundred bucks
yeah I won't be watching either way so put on whatever you want
I would guess this is more of a cost cutting move that gives them some PR points. The majority applauding or condemning it won't be watching either
Prime time regular season baseball is no longer something casuals are just going to watch because it's on.
