Seems that Randy Shannon is in mix to become the DC. This could get good for Tulane sitting from their view.

I talked to Hank Tierney and he said that the several high school coaches he spoke to are very excited about this. He said he wouldn't be surprised if you see some players switch their verbals to Tulane.

A friend of mine up here said several weeks ago that the plan is to announce the final donations for the stadium along with the announcement of a new coach.

So, at 2 Central, I'm going to be very unproductive at work...

Sean Payton is basically giving Curtis Johnson a pep rally today at his monday presser. I think any Tulane fan should be pumped hearing him talk about Johnson

I believe I read that the Tulane BOA meets on Thursday to approve the stadium. I wouldn't expect an announcement today.

Both African American, both were born in the area, bot have either played or coached in the area.

Pretty smart, actually. If they can get some of the middle ranked New Orleans kids that LSU doesn't scoop up, they can be in good shape.
