If he turned down the same offer from Florida, then I don’t think the LSU lore makes that much of a difference to him. Seems to truly want to be at ASU

Obviously Florida is a better job but Yurachek has been rallying donors to significantly improve NIL/salaries. We all know we’re at risk of getting left behind if the SEC and Big 10 break away from the NCAA. Can’t afford to continue being this bad.

It’s always possible some people aren’t swayed by money or championships and just want the chance to build their Alma mater into a dynasty slowly over 10-20 years.

I will say FWIW one of my sources in the AD said he heard from various sources it was going to be Kiffin a while back... One of those was Ole Miss' strength coach interestingly enough, who my source is friends with.
And then today in an update on the Florida On3 page it's said that Kiffin would bring the strength coach from OM if it is UF, along with his GM there. Probably nothing but it raised my eyebrows a bit since it did line up with what I heard a while back. If Kiffin did want to bring him, he would know. But not sure he would have known a week or two ago when I was told that.
