The term 2nd-tier should be the line in the sand
You are already setting up the fanbase for lowered expectations
Would you send your kids to a 2nd-tier doctor?

Fisher is a bigger name coach than any other coach ya'll come up with. I believe fisher is woodwards man. He's been wanting him since day one when he hired him at a&m so them two will come together again fisher has no buyout and Woodward is going to give him all the money to be offered.

LSU would be far better off with Lane Kiffin, as opposed to Lincoln Riley, Jimbo Fisher, Mel Tucker, Dave Aranda, Billy Napier, or PJ the freaking Fleck.

Yeah, go with familiarity, let THAT be what puts him “on this level”…that’s the reason you’re in this mess dummy. “He’s one of us..”… ring a bell?
I said nothing of the sort that “he’s one of us.”
Woodward is familiar with Aranda’s work,
character, the way he interacts with players and so forth because he has been able to observe it first hand. He is more of a known commodity and obviously if Woodward has liked what he has seen, that puts him in the first tier.
While he is on the other side of the ball, his track is somewhat similar to Riley and Day of rising to be a championship-caliber coordinator. The difference is obviously that he took a HC job elsewhere.
Tucker is a journeyman assistant. Napier’s claim to fame was being on Saban’s staff - the reality is he was passed over several times by Saban for the OC position.

Everyone keeps forgetting that jimbo was not woodwards choice. He was given a directive and followed orders ust like mal moore did to get saban to alabama
SW was told to go get imbo and don't come back without him
