Baker seems like a good recruiter and a decent LB coach, but the staff Kelly ultimately brings in may have even better credentials. Let’s see how all the pieces fit before drawing conclusions.

Well I'll trust BK, but keeping Peetz, as OC at least, makes zero sense to me. Kelly would have to rehab him AND Peetz is not a great recruiter. I just don't see the purpose of keeping him around. Maybe he would be the QB coach or something.

You got to let Kelley make his moves and bring in who he wants. I know Baker is a good coach, however I have confidence Kelley will make excellent hires and our defense will be back on top again.

That would make sense considering his role in Carolina. I guess if he wants to take the demotion and Kelly likes him then we should keep him. So we would be paying a QB coach $1MM/Year?
