He would get burned sometimes early in games when he was here but you knew he’d always find a fix for it and shut it down.
tell us how he shut down Texas in 19. tell us how he shut down vandy in '19. tell us how he shut down Ole miss in '19. you people have some horrible memories. apparently everyone but lsu fans know aranda had been figured out.

Anyone recall how our D did the LAST 4 games of 2019? TAMU, GA, OK, Clem? Thank you, Coach Aranda for a job well done.
That's an average score of 48-17 per game.

Napier will make LSU a consistent big time winner! Folks should jump on his bandwagon and stop being concerned he coaches at UL

Yep, hiring Napier would be a very smart move.

This is such a ridiculously stupid fricking take.

Don’t be surprised if it doesn’t turn out that way. When O was hired we had been snubbed by Herman, and Fisher. And why do you think O had such a hard time hiring the coaches he really wanted? There are social/political negative perceptions to eliminate right now. I think the AD has the responsibility to change things, and I think he will. Unfortunately, football coaching is now as political as it gets.

LSU has hired the "pick of the litter" once - Saban. He was a "who's that?" at the time. Most LSU fans didn't know him for other than losing to DiNardo in the Indy bowl.
I'm not endorsing anyone but could Billy Napier be that homerun hire?
I wouldn't be upset with Mel Tucker as long as the hire was NOT because the LSU prez wants him because he is black. His head coach record is not real good but he was, at after all, at Colorado. Do giver him credit for addressing team needs through the portal. Walker is a hell of a running back, for one. Tucker openly states that Saban is the biggest influence on his career. He has a lot of experience in different situations.
Who knows what is happening behind the scenes. I can hardly wait to see the hire and the reactions. There will be tons of those from the Rant, a collection of people that mostly don't know doodly squat about football and coaching, in particular
