I guess when you consider the hundreds of millions that the football programs bring in annually in addition to the exposure the school gets which affects enrollment, it could be considered a pretty smart investment

it's the nature of the business there is a gigantic demand for these people so you have universities NFL teams paying their coaches millions of dollars to run their team.

1) Saban has a history of lying
2) if you tell a kid you are leaving the place you are trying to recruit him to he will probably not commit to your school.
