forcibly resists

driving a two ton honda pilot in the direction of a police officer after being told to exit the vehicle isn't forcible?

I'm no lawyer but that seems pretty forcible to me. I posted in another thread a cop was killed by a jeep by a kid who stole the jeep, he was unarmed and probably scared of being shot and was just trying to flee, but he ended up getting a life sentence.

After reviewing body cam footage of the incident, police said that Harris had at first seemed to be obeying Caprio's order to get out — but then he suddenly got back in his seat and drove straight at her. Caprio was able to fire a single shot into the Jeep's windshield before she was fatally struck.

I know it is Maryland vs Minnesota so maybe the laws are different but that situation looks identical to what happened in Minnesota, the main difference is one cop survived the other died. I also get a driving a stolen car is a crime. But he got a life sentence for murder not auto theft.

Only one person knows her true intentions in the moment. Unfortunately she put her self in a position where we will never know.

Honestly her intentions don't matter.

Think of it this way, guy pulls a gun on someone with the intention to scare someone, here never intended to pull the trigger. The other guy responds by pulling his own gun and firing. Everyone maybe except crazy liberals would say that was a good shooting.
typical football commercial break as he is walking off the field.

A poster today literally said that if the car is accelerating towards you, you have to brace for it and then tough it out after it hits you.

while different circumstances, the exact same setup, officer in front of car, the car accelerates, officer fires a shot. Different result, she dies after being hit.

Cars can kill and the officer was justified.

These slow down, which way is the wheel turned videos are pointless.

First it is very unlikely that the officer could see which way the wheel was turned.
Second, the driver floored it which would have caused the engine to rev. Even if she was trying to flee, it is reasonable and expected that the officer thought she was going to try and run him over.
Third, It's a split second decision, taking the time to break it down it ignores that fact.
fourth no matter her intent it is clearly self defense. Think about it this way a guy pulls a gun but doesn't intend to shoot it, and gets shot. How could the shooter know he didn't intend to shoot. Same thing here, how could the officer know she intended to flee?

The ten seed in the national title game… wow

almost left out too.
I'd run it 24 seconds is enough time to run it twice before calling a TO to kick a FG if needed.

What weird OPI will these refs call when Miami scores?

or phantom hold.
abandoned the run, when you have gashed ole miss.
I don't remember does college have replay assist, because that was clear.
even if Ole Miss wins it all, LSU is still a better job. This may be the one chance Ole Miss has for a while, LSU should be able to compete every year.
four down territory obviously I would consider running it here, the way they move the ball.

If that was Miami on defense there would have been a PI

nah good no call.
two pass plays, you have time run it.
I guess a good call but call it both ways.
