Yes, but I believe it’s in the 7th.

Did he just say Aaron Nola is gonna be pitching for Italy?

Yes why would he do that?
Not a hit but maybe that will get us going
Maybe giving up a few will wake up the bats
Is this going to be a bad night? I hope not.

100% I don’t watch mlb but did they really ban doing shifts???
That’s absolutely crazy. It’s the pros

Not really banned you just can't have three players on the right side of second. Basically the short stop can set up anywhere as long as he is on the left side of second.
We may have our weekend rotation
Friday Evans
Saturday Moore
Sunday Schmidt
This reminds me a bit of the Omaha series from last year, struggled to hit, but the difference so far in game three we put up a bunch of runs

It’s a slump, the only question is how long it lasts.

We looked fine against better competition last weekend, something just off this weekend.

It’s runs you idiot, learn the game

Found the guy who doesn't follow baseball on the rant.
There must be something to our approach that we hit so many pop flys
If our offense is going that is fair.

Evans-Moore vs. Moore-Evans is going to be strong either way and won't make much of a difference.

I agree

And I think because of this, unless he struggles in SEC play keep Evans Friday and Moore Saturday, they already have those reps. Not that Friday vs Saturday reps are much different but when it comes to pitching you want to give college arms 5 or 6 days rest between starts. As in Friday to Friday or at worst Friday to Thursday. Setting them up early in the season helps.

fans have gotten us 8 NC's. That's obviously not the problem

Fans can hurt or help the team. I find our fanbase helps us a lot, but it ultimately comes down to the coaching and the players. Thanks to Skip building the powerhouse of college baseball, and Jay Johnson bringing it back, we have won 8 national titles.

If Skip Bertman never came to LSU do you think LSU would have 8 national championships?
they made a good point on the radio broadcast after the game.

Opening weekend is exciting, and that can lead to better hitting. Then they go to Jacksonville play some decent competition, and we hit the ball pretty well that weekend. Then you go home to play McNeese, Dartmouth, and Northeastern. It goes from the excitement of the early season to the ho-hum non-conference games. Games you should run through, but sometimes the team shows up flat. I suspect Jay will correct this.

Plus, baseball is a spot of being hot and cold, sometimes you play well sometimes you struggle. The fact that we have two wins struggling in our last 3 games isn't horrible, and I would say fairly good. As they say, it's about peaking at the right time. So far, Jay has been good about making that happen.
Our military Active and Reserve forces are about four times larger than Mexico and Canada combined.

Military spending we spend upwards of 10 times the amount on our military compared to theirs.

This doesn't factor in the tech advantage, the number of high-tech weapons, ships, planes etc.

Do you really think Mexico and Canada would have any chance against the United States?

We are the greatest military in the world and no-one can go toe to toe with us.
