He resigned today. I'm not about to try and read Les'mind, but my hunch is he had his selection made before Lebeau resigned. And I don't see Les going in that direction. Strictly my 2 cents.

I gotta admit that the first part of that seems somewhat plausible. With all the talk around the assistant contracts about the Miles clause and Alleva seemingly reaching an impasse with Chavis over that clause it makes me wonder why both sides would have seen that as so important.
Still I think it's a long shot that that's true but if they hired someone really old like LeBeau or someone who seems primed to move on after a couple or a few years, that would give it a little more probability in my mind.
Only bad thing is if it's something like that and it gets out it would probably be poison for recruiting for the next couple of years.
