Miles nepotism at its best.
Another Stud situation with coaching skills then add terrible recruiter. Imagine a head coach not even knowing that Stud was not recruiting the best OT in the state. I mean come on. Miles needs to stop turning a blind eye to the details and with accountability.

You must have watched a different OL than I did this year if you think Grimes was an improvement over Stud.

Peveto is awful.

He needs to go.

But he will stay.

He looks so old. I thought maybe he would be close to retirement age and we could luck out that way but the guy is only 50 years old. He will be here until Les retires.

Jackie Chiles?
That's totally inappropriate. It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous!!

inconsistent punter

Let's not act like Keehn was a model of consistency before Peveto. LSU punted 20 times more this year than last.

2013: 41.05 Avg on 43 punts
2014: 45.01 Avg on 68 punts

iffy ko and punt coverage

Kick Coverage
2013: 23.15 YPR, 1 TD
2014: 20.24 YPR, 0 TDs

Punt Coverage is the only area of significant drop off.
2013: 3.13 YPR, 0 Tds
2014: 10.16 YPR, 1 TD (Minus DuBose's 62 yd TD at Florida, the average drops to 7.28, still significantly worse.)

What, if any, his influence on Delahoussaye's slight drop off is debatable. And there are obviously negative plays on the season that can be highlighted. But Special Teams was not demonstrably worse in 2014.
