quote:im all for a coach coaching his team however he chooses. I do feel HS coaches shouldn’t try to influence the young men in the other team.
I’ve been an opposing fan at 2 of his games this year. He reminds me of Cecchini in so far as his gamesmanship/childish/motivational techniques. Literally turned a scrimmage into 4.5 hrs with meetings with his batters to interrupt pitcher’s timing. Also saw him in an actual game leave the 3rd base coach’s box running up the line all the way to home plate on a ball in play to the pitcher, yelling toward the field. But I think if we’re all being honest, we would take the coach with passion over the one just filling out a card going through the motions when our kid is involved. And after meeting Cechinni, there is a level of appreciation you gain when he’s not in the opposing dugout. I’m sure it might be the same in this case.
I have seen some crap this year that is straight trash. No much and definitely outliers but there are a couple guys I would not let my kid play for. Having seen the Central coach up close, he did nothing when they played us that was in poor taste. We beat them in a walk off and he and his team were very polite and engaging in spite of a close loss as we served them their food.
For a shirt taking off episode it seemed rather mild.
quote:that is surprising. Arguably their best arm is hurt and they won three district games total. I didn’t see them winning a playoff series, winning a game was a stretch in my mind…
PHS over Riverdale 8-2 to advance. At least they get another week, another trip to NOLA and a chance to play BM.

I don’t know what quit means, but this team is cooked. When pitching, defense, and run production are essential, thus team is deficient in two areas. It is what we are.

Sham did that last week also and took his shirt off. Dudes a clown

quote:losing 8-4 is still losing. Get Benge out and he may save our arse in game 3. Or his batting average against is like 360. You pick, Maybe he thought he was on borrowed time
groove. I thought pulling Benge last night was bullshite. I’d like to see them narrow down the arms to a group that we trust/depend on and let them go a bit further.
As far as arms you can trust? Who the hell is that. Cowan, Schmidt, Fontenot…Rizy has been ok and he damn near decapitated a guy.
Maybe that was the though process. But does it really matter? We have a bad SEC team with a Sunday or rotation guy starting Friday nights. We have a marginal Saturday guy starting Saturday. Sunday is a disaster.

quote:you are saying the same thing. Scenes improved, and it would be very difficult to expect similar progression in future players arriving on campus. Skenes is an outlier
False. Skenes even said the LSU facilities and staff support helped him develop into what he was in ‘23
quote:It went 8, in the 8th, tied 1-1, Riverdale imploded with hbp and bb, Pineville added on a couple hits and voila...11 runs. Talk about an implosion.
Looks like pineville won based on facebook over Riverdale, not sure on score but pineville had an 11 run inning

500? Dang.
I had about 300 in my head. That’s awesome to get that much support. I bet we have 100. And that is up about 70, lol

quote:this. He built that monster from nothing. If a Cenla team did that and took full advantage of open enrollment to consolidate talent, a team from here would challenge Catholic and the best from the Catholic league year in and year out.
you think barbe was always the barbe it is today? when Glen showed up there wasnt even an outfield fence and he was told if he didnt raise 2k by the end of the season they were closing it down. took him over a decade to win his first ship.
If you lifeguard there you better stretch pretty good prior to a shift.

If anybody knows of other games streaming, post here.

after reading this closer. WTH do they require you register 60 days prior to the expiration date and then threaten to cancel the registration.

Don’t let expire for more than 60 days, if so can’t do it online.

quote:without watching, I doubt it. And I’d block the plate against us anyway, what are our guys gonna do? If they truck him they are ejected. If he isn’t allowing a lane without the ball, we are safe…hopefully.
NSU catcher has been blocking the plate all night.
Not from a trailer park but a girl from upstate New York moved down here to follow her boyfriend to college where he played football. She lived in the nastiest apartment complex ever. Met her in a math class. On our second time to hang out she gave me a Polaroid of her laying out nude and pulled up the side of her panties to show me they were Velcro, then told me her mother had sent them to her.
It was a wild ride for a few months. Went up there to hang out w her in the summer (had job w airline and could fly free). Poor people from the South ain’t got nothing over poor people from up there. It was the craziest group of people I ever met. Drugs and sex everywhere, heavy metal music and fighting around the clock.

quote:then why are people making that argument in favor of the bill
You too dumb to know the difference between meeting the obligations of an academic scholarship and working a job?
quote:was the money misused? And does this bill exclusively cover resignation from your academic institution? If so you have a point.
Any idea how many recoupment actions are taken against those who get ROTC scholarships then decide that 8-year MSO is too inconvenient? Any idea how many private scholarships and academic grants have clauses for repayment in the event of misuse of the money?
