So did Chizik. Don't remember him acting like a little bitch.

I would say Cam won that one.

I guess you could make the argument that VY won Texas'. But Chizik didn't win jack at AU.

Exactly how can people bitch about fans disrespecting them and then run to a place that's forcing out a guy with an 8-4 record this season. Talk about unappreciated.

why wouldn't he if he wants to coach next season?

Because Texas doesn't want him coaching there and he knows it.

He will not be the coach next season, the faster he gets out of the way, the better off UT is for next season. Mack has now become a liability and not an asset.

One could also argue that if Brown started having nine-loss seasons at Texas shortly after the '05 ship instead of consistently competing at a high level (until recently,) they probably would have gotten rid of him a lot earlier.

I concur.

My heart goes out to him for losing a 5 million dollar per year job that he sucked at.

He's been given the opporunity to bow out gracefully but it seems like he's holding out as long as possible.
Then what is the problem. Pride money

no but the 5-7 season in 2010 set all of this up. Now they are at 4 years in a row that are below standards for Texas. Their program is stagnating. It's time for a change.

LSU high expectations just became recent in last 12 years, all top schools are now spoiled to some degree as of late

He's persona non grata at this point. Needs to read the writing on the wall and just bow out.

And they have shown him respect by letting him keep his job this long, IMO. Most others in his position would've been unceremoniously canned long ago.

And Texas has extremely high expectations.
