Yeah IMO it's making Texas look really bad. IMO worse than FSU and Bowden.

These are the comments i just don't unserstand. These coaches are paid MULTIPLE MILLIONS per year, they are still employees and should never EVER dictate the rules of their departure.

Just give me one more year = just give me a few million more in my bank account.

I want to see Mack go down swinging, sending out blackmail pictures and internal memos, making it the most scandal-plagued year in UT history.

Mild foreshadowing of gump response to losing Saban.

I think a lot of people who didn't understand Mack Brown before are starting to see the truth.

He is behaving like George Costanza, who won't answer the call when he knows he is about to get dumped.

I think your read on this is wrong. The writing is on the wall. They dont' want to "fire" Mack. But, they will if they have to.

They are giving Make the time to gracefully exit and it is Mack who is dragging his feet.

This is somewhere along the lines of it. Texas has lain dormant for the past few years, while other, lesser Texas programs have sprouted Heisman winners. They've made no headway in an increasingly watered-down Big 12.
Getting destroyed by BYU and Ole Miss at home was the final straw; and even then, had he been able to upset Baylor (that's right, Texas beating Baylor is now an upset- the SHAME!), I think he buys another year. He didn't.

This. He can't even compete in the big-12, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Texas still has a ton of talent on that team. Do you know what LSU would do to the big-12?

This isn't only Texas thing, and society has lost sight of our values/priorities. We're all so ate up with Championships or nothing some are willing to sell their own mothers out to make it happen. I love Bama football but it's still just a game in the end.The money involved now is helping destory what dignity CFB had left.

Texas with the whole bully conference thingy lately and now this has taken away what respect I had left for them. Oh well, if we held our leaders, teachers, and other important position to the same accountability we hold our favorite sports players & teams. We might be doing much better in this Country moving foward.
