yeah but did all those starters play....um no! they were freshmen les made them in the footbal players they are now, not saban. its how you coach them if they are going to be successfull on the field or not....no matter if your a 3 star or 5 star, period!!

ok so let's just get this out of the way

question: is saban an insanely good talent evaluator and recruiter?

question: didn't saban leave our program absolutely stocked with talent?

but dland, your argument that les set this program up for success, while saban did absolutely nothing, is pure horseshite.

why do you think SFP is pointing out those players? bc they were recruited and signed by Saban. how exactly is that not setting this program up for success?

Les Miles walked straight into a Ferrari of a program, with the nation's best talent, facilities amongst the nation's best, the best academic support in the nation and support for the program at it's highest ever. you CAN'T argue that.

Last time I checked, the fans do not have the choice of who to fire or hire. The fans have disliked Miles since he arrived and have only started to come around this year. The loss to Arkansas has left a nice empty bandwagon once again.

i do give saban some credit...but once he left and les came in it was all les. saban did some good but les made lsu the power it is and will be for the next four years...look at all that young talent les brought in. and if and when les leaves i'll give all the credit to the next coach for molding the new players..its nothen against saban but everyone needs to get off his sack and give les his credit. no one didn't know who lsu was when saban was hear. can you say the same about les?

dude how the hell did les make LSU the power it is when he's won jack shite here?

you don't think winning a national title is bigger for a program than saying the pac10 sucks?

quote:

look at all that young talent les brought in

according to you this is irrelevant, so why do you bring it up?

but everyone needs to get off his sack and give les his credit.

when les wins something worth a shite people will get off his back

he managed to completely frick up this year. when will lsu get another chance like 2007?

you sure about that one? i mean, that national title did absolutely nothing to gain national visibility?

les has gotten more pub about his losses and/or pac-10 comments than anything else.

what was the talk about last year? best team in the nation...but with 2 losses.

what's the talk this year? " "

I'm honestly very worried that a lot of our defensive talent is still surviving on technique and skills that they learned under Saban (yea, as freshmen) and have not developed one iota since then. When they're gone next year, we could be in heap deep shite, especially at cornerback, and not for lack of talent.

Be on the Hot Seat here at LSU next year? Maybe not officially, but in the eyes of many fans?
_____________________

Sure, because 3 straight 10 win seasons, 2 straight BCS bowls, potentially a conference championship on Saturday --- these are all things that should not please any real fan.

Are you serious? Do you remember Archer/Hallman? Do you realize that Miles has been one of the winningest coaches in the nation the past 3 years? How can he be on the hot seat??????????????????????????
