He has been incredibly predictable these last 7 years. He wins, then people try to get him to leave, then he tells them no. Same shite every year.

This past Iron Bowl sort of reminded me of the Capital One Bowl game he coached when he left LSU (2005)--although everyone already knew Nick was departing.
On another note, I have heard a number of preachers AND football coaches who have denied they were leaving and then did. Perhaps it depends on Who or what calls, and how hard a sell the person is.

Apples to oranges.
Preachers hear a calling from God.
And Saban, well, he is God.

Swaggart was coming, not leaving.

I think it's fair to say not many people really thought he was leaving.
I just enjoyed the ruckus it caused by you and many o bama fans on this wonderful board.
Btw, good to see all of you posting over here on Tigerdroppings

That is Saban's MO (well, except for Miami where he left out the winning part). He tells them no until he tells someone yes. I think the chances of him saying yes again are less than in the past but no one believes there is zero chance. Which is why you gumps are nervous and us corn dogs are giddy.

The ruckus was 75% other fans. 80% of which were LSU tards. Understandable.

He's gonna break up with you like he did us! One of these days! You'll see!

Bama has lost and replaced a lot of assistants in Saban's tenure. Why should that affect Saban's salary?
seriously? You don't think LSU was affected when an OC or DC has left in the past?
Saban making more makes coordinators pay situation tighter.

Plus we won a championship last season with a 1st year OC.

I dunno. Apparently that LSU fan thinks that if the head coach makes more the assistants must make less. I just figured that must be how yall do it, because otherwise it was just a very stupid thing to say.

that person is a retard. there is no robbing peter to pay paul type of shite here. we have some of the most well paid assistants in the nation. They get evaluated at the end of the year and given raises based on performance. Most get raises to some degree.
