On ESPN last night the interview said none of the noise was coming from Northwest Arkansas. He said that people close to the Arkansas athletic program were emphatic that no offer was made to Miles. He said it was very loud from south Louisiana and that all the media leaks were coming from Baton Rouge.
There's a chance that Les' people were behind all this....

It's pretty clear at this point that Malzahn will be the next HC. He will be hired within the next 10-14 days.

Just kind of odd thats Arkansas first public speculation to hit nation media was a 5 year 27.5 Million dollar offer to Les Miles.
Did your AD actually think for the last three months that Les Miles was going to just decide to give up what hes built at LSU for Arkansas.
I know yall have had these huge eyes on Gruden and other names that just sounded crazy to every other fanbase but I think yall get a good coach just not an elite coach that has a proven winning record.
Good luck with your search I just think think the fanbase is expecting filet mignon but might end up with a thick but T-bone.
