I mean most every Tulane fan is expecting him to take the Auburn job.
He does like/love the city and Tulane. So it's not really a troll that he is showing love for it.
We went pretty much every season with Fritz interviewing for jobs.
Yes, Sumrall will likely leave, as Fritz before him, but as long as the trend continues where they are leaving for bigger jobs $$ it keeps Tulane in a positive light. Quite the opposite of LSU's situation where the last 3 coaches were fired for low productivity. I just hope Tulane doesn't start worrying about losing a new coach- as long as the future coaches continue the winning traditions, that's all that matters, so what if they leave for a bigger job? Maybe it will even draw in more money for athletic upgrades.
I have now taken a bigger interest in the Green Wave, because one of my granddaughters is in her first semester there and enjoying it.

wtf would you think this is a troll?

I have never had a problem with Tulane being a 'stepping stone' school. I felt we should have done what Boise St did and just keep hiring from within (like we should have done with RichRod). Eventually you can get a guy to stay awhile (like Peterson did at Boise St).
Tulane is an attractive job and we probably can find another quality coach even in this cycle.

Is Blake Baker your first call or has the shine worn off for the former Greenie?

No. He wouldn't be my first call. I think he gets an interview though if he wants one though.

It isn't. I am being sarcastic. Ole Miss fans have been going off on Lane saying he is trolling them by posting positive stuff about Ole Miss on twitter while talking to other schools.
The point was Sumrall is doing same thing but nobody is busting his balls about "trolling Tulane fans" when he is obviously leaving.

Oh I see. I’m sure “it’s different” for Ole Miss fans. We will see if they are interested in pursuing a coach who is competing for the playoffs.

They have already been aggressively talking with Sumrall. The hypocrisy is off the charts.
