That must explain his need to always hire a pro coach. But at least Del Rio, Herm and Dungy had some success and clean reputations.

did the AD hire Orgeron and Chow first then go looking for a head coach? I saw them listed as already on staff of every prospective HC.

I would be absolutely livid if I was a USC fan and dancing in the streets if I was a Vols fan. It was only a matter of time before UT faced sanctions. It will suck in the short term but it will be great in the long term. Especially if they can get someone like Leach.

Does anybody know where the UT AD went to school? My brother thought it might be TCU, but he wasn't sure. I would hate for Patterson to go there.
