Just so you who are new to this thread don't have to read the whole damn thing let's repeat again that the plane is owned by Rich Rogel a wealthy UM alum (valedictorian business school) who lives in CO. Fact that it is not owned by UM is really irrelevant but those are the facts.

Don't know about that, but the plane is a charter plane that anyone can charter for $1700/hr per this web link:

Its pretty funny. Last night i saw this guy with a michigan shirt on at this restaurant and i thought to my self oh shite they here already. Before i said anything this lady starts pitchin a fit about how miles isnt going anywhere and telling this michigan fan they cant have him.

this thread is hilarious
1. if miles is meeting with michigan when he should be in dallas, i'd fire his arse right now.
2. if miles met with michigan officials, br would be the dumbest place in the world to do it.
3. the plane went from ny to ga to br and back to ga so it's not carrying any michigan officials.
4. the plane was in nj during michigan's bowl game. user doesn't seem to follow football much.

You're right.
There's a perfectly reasonable explanation for why a Michigan branded plane was at BTR.
They were in town to meet with Lamar's CEO about getting a cool billboard like the one Mullen has on I-55 at the LA/MS state line. Michigan wants to erect a huge billboard at the MI/OH state line on I-75.
Nothing to see here.
