This press conference was last minute so Miles could vent. Will y'all just accept the fact that he's staying? ESPN already said that Bertman has told many media outlets that the contract is done.

Well he has maintained the whole time that he was 100% committed to this game and wouldnt talk to Michigan until after the SECCG game anyway.
And the way he spoke in the press conference, he never definitively said that he would or would not stay.
So I wouldnt say its over yet. He basically rehashed what he has been saying all week

He really did leave some leeway.
But, you know what? At this point I don't care. Hopefully he was clearer with the team.
The one thing that struck me was when he said "I represent me . . ." If I was his agent I'd be shitting.

i agree bilj. im not gonna get into arguing if he is staying or going, because at this point who knows. but that press conference did nothing to convince me that he is staying.
i mean if it was a done deal for him to stay why wasnt it mentioned?

Sounds to me like you almost want the guy gone....Saban is the devil and then when you want a coach he is back on your radar....Then you want Miles to stay but then when he does you almost want him to go ahead and go...

I want the guy gone, I don't like him, never have claimed to like. If he stays and is undefeated next season I still won't like him.
I think this press conference was strictly an ego ploy for Miles. If he wanted to shut the stuff up, he would have said "I am not going to Michigan" or "I will be the coach for LSU NEXT season".

Thank you for pointing out the facts, sir. Just the facts. I guess that EVERYBODY at LSU is lying today. Skip,S ean, Herb V., Miles, Hawthorne, Moreau, Jordy, etc.

I disagree I think he said plenty..he has said he would not say or do anything to hurt this team..Herbie or his source(likely Michigan AD) undermined this statement from Miles and seriously could have damaged the team and repretation of Miles..if you don't believe me look at the board 3 hours ago..half of the people here didn't even want to watch the "meaningless" game. Imagine what the players were feeling..he basicly said, F$#@ you and wait until Monday like I originally told you..if he still leaves on Monday at least he kept his word..he wasn't going to hurt the team or players...

No need. I want him gone too and I have handled it. My mother's step-mother's cousin knows a guy who knows this lady that works in athletic dpt. So I sent her an e-mail relaying my desire for him to move on to Michigan

And he blamed ESPN specifically for the screw up...we just thought Herb didn't like us before...someone needs to fark Herb and Les squaring off in the ring for next season..
