What has he done to be so coveted? I know the QB's haven't been stellar, but the drops from his department have been a HUGE issue.

Honest question.

If rumors are accurate, he was the architect of the offense we saw in the Cotton Bowl. It true, I say give him the reins when Crowton "resigns" to take another gig.

Idk I've heard so many different things. Rumors at this point are tiring. Thats why I'm not investing to much into the Crowton rumors until I see it happen.

Honestly why would Maryland want him? he has put up 2 of the nations worst offenses the past 2 years. Why Maryland would go after him is crazy.

So we should go with him based on rumors, about one game... against weak Big 12 Defense?

I can...as bad as our passing game was last year, it sucked even more donkey balls this year. The WRs get no separation, and they don't block well down field. The only thing I even have to say about the QBs is 7 TD passes in 12 games. He's been a huge disappointment to me. Of course, none of us really know how much of a "passing game coordinator" he really is, or if Les just gave him that title to appease him and pay him more to get him here.

First year. Weak QB play. WR's did drop to many balls, but that really isn't on him. Down field blocking by WR's was a concern. Though you don't know how much he actually was involved.

I agree in the sense that if you're playing WR at LSU, you need to know how to catch a football. There's only so much a coach can do. However, I found it really odd that in the preseason practice videos, BG's solution to WRs dropping passes during drills was to kick them out of the drill. It just seems that if someone isn't catching well, then they should practice it more, not less.

Need to stay:

Moffit
Cooper
Haley
Wilson
Chavis
Gonzo(I'll give him slack since it is his first year)
Robinson

Don't care either way:

Miles
Stud

Need to go:

Ensminger
Crowton

i think robinson may get a look at the NFL, not sure he would go but he has produced some solid units here and probably would get some phone calls.

He has been trying to go to the NFL. Maybe Saints could hire over the dipshit they have now who is the worst ST Coach I've ever seen.

Only reason I say Ensminger needs to go is because he is a TE coach. One, that position coach is completely useless. Two, he can't recruit. Three, we need a QB coach. Four, we need someone else who can recruit on the staff, specifically someone with Texas ties.

I don't think that most on here realize how close we are to losing Tommy to Tennessee. We'll hopefully know something today or tomorrow.
