My understanding is that most of the people on the rant have college football coaching experience though, so I will trust their opinions.
Plus the rant personnel are at their best tracking private jets on Flightaware.

don't some of you think it's better to have a stable staff coming into a potential championship season?

Crowton has to go and bring in a new O-line Coach also. Good play calling with QB development and a good O-line then Les can say he built something.

LSU may have been the best team that year, but could have easily missed out of the MNC.

Where were all these Crownton Knights during the season?
I didnt see a single person defending him, not one.
We changed some coaches since the last 2 rough seasons and some of that is paying off.
Change is good if done correctly.

Getting rid of crowton does just that, brings stability to the staff. crowton's first year was 07' & that worked out ok for him-NC. Now the only difference between 07' & 11' is the fact that crowton walked into a LOADED, EXPERIENCED, WELL-COACHED OFFENSE, with a SENIOR QB who was coached by the previous OC. The new OC comes in with 2 SR below avg QB's who have had NO coaching & a sophomore coming from outside of the program.
No excuse, for the talent on this team, for the offense to be ranked last in the SEC & in the bottom of the NCAA, NO EXCUSE. crowton needs to go, he is the weakest link on this coaching staff & LSU needs to move ahead without him.

great line of thinking there. Considering the offense is what held has us back from making a run the past 2 seasons let's bring it back because we can't risk falling from 11th to 12th in total offense in the SEC

* ahem *
Well, "defending" is not exactly correct. I have stated many times that I just do not know enough to be able to make that judgment so I will not.
I have said I will cheer like hell for whoever is the LSU coaches and let the HC make those decisions.
I also said that poor qb play was much more to blame for the poor offense. Now, there are some arguments as to WHY the qb play has been bad.
I'll be happy to have Crowton back....or, I'll cheer like hell for his replacement.
I have never ONCE been critical of him.

I know the majority wants Crowton gone. But next year is a potential championship year, don't some of you think it's better to have a stable staff coming into a potential championship season?
Didn't hurt us after 2006 ...

You can't win a National Championship with a passing offense that ranks 109th and total offense ranking of 86th. Crowton needs to go!
