I just can't see LSU putting up with the silence for much longer I'd guess UM has about a 12 hour window to make this happen

supposedly they are in meetings today. If he gets their job,do you think we have a realistic shot at a Mullen or Patterson, both coaches who recently signed extensions?

Mullen I suppose would be a target, not sure how I feel about him yet.

Latest War Room report from Mike S: Miles may take the job. But he may not either. Stay tuned.

scarbs was saying miles wouldn't take the job for sure last week .. he was saying miles didn't want to get into a job where he'd be rebuilding into his 60s ... so MS is like everyone else and changing hourly ..

Haha maybe he should just admit that he doesn't have a fricking clue.

"I called someone close to the situation and he doesn't have any idea whether he will take the job or not." LOL.

Balas did an update saying that Pomeranz or whatever's report on Kathy Miles not wanting to go to AA are "bogus according to an impeccable source" and that all the factions support a Miles hire.

would not doubt it memphisplaya's boy DP has been dead wrong about every coaching hire this year. Even said last week Miles already turned them down, now he may end up saying no but obviously he didn't tell them no last week

have you seen a report about Mullen being in BR? Balas confirmed to another poster that he had heard the rumor but hasn't got anything concrete on it yet.

seems far fetched, I think LSU is reaching out to people but doubt they've brought anyone in yet because I don't think they even know what Les will do. Who ever does though?

Balas is saying that the "LSU site" (tigerbait/scike?) has a new update that states that we are prepared to offer Miles up to $5M with incentives. Did this get posted and I just haven't seen it?

Also, Balas is backing off now and is saying it is 50/50 that he goes to Michigan.

Brandon says he wasn't conducting interviews with the media, not that there were no interviews with Les or anyone else today.

Balas' His original timetable on Miles decision timetable was Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning, we'll see if that holds true.

Things seem to be moving more towards staying. Especially with UM beginning to balk about speaking to anyone today

Who is Balas.

Les needs to stay. Hire a great OC.

Take the Jimmy Johnson route and be an LSU man instead of a Michigan man.
