Where does that money actually come from? Wal-Mart and Tyson are public right?
Waltons, Tyson, Jerry Jones, Stephens Media, Lindsey Developments among the top donors....

KARK, Little Rock.....

Strong reports are coming out tonight that Tommy Tuberville, head coach at Auburn, may take on the head coaching position in Fayetteville.
The Razorback Nation crew is working to confirm the validity of these reports. Stay tuned to KARK 4 News at 10:00 and the Razorback Nation for more information.

Anything delivered by JB Hunt

I would advise AU fans to stop shopping at Wal-Mart, eating chicken, renting or buying from the nations largest apartment and real estate development (Lindsay Development), using JB Hunt, and cheering for the Cowboys.

AU can not even sniff Wal-Mart and Tyson money. They do not have the facilities or the state wide support either.
Talent has never lacked at Arkansas.
Tubby wanted the job in 97, he gets it in 07.
Come home my son. Come home.
Agreed. Tubbs will be money up there. shite. I'm just glad we got Brett Helms when we did.

Arkansas has put the money into their facilities but this spend hasn't transfered to the field.
Track has nice facility and has done extremely well. Only problem, its track and no one gives a shite unless its a football player placing in the track meet (i.e. Trindon Holliday).
Baseball has a great field and Van Horn has finally brought the talent up to par.
Football hasn't caught up. DWR Stadium is fantastic from what I'm told.
Arkansas lacks talent. Not enough people to continuously feed a D-1 program. I played college football up here and was shocked by the number of teammates I had that played in the Ark. H.S. all-star game.
In Louisiana, you wouldn't even get invited to this game unless you were the absolute shite.
To sum it up, Ark. facilities are great overall but total state talent is lacking.

Isn't that the recipe for redneck?

Why?
I'm an AU grad, and I'm not really getting all worked up about it. He doesn't have Auburn roots, and if he thinks he will be happier at Arkansas, I said good luck to him.
This isn't like if Bear Bryant left Alabama for LSU, or if Shug Jordan went to UGA. College football coaching has become a business, and except for Rodriguez at WVa and a slight other few, there is no loyalty to a school outside of lip service for the benefit of the fans.
Auburn has had success under the two coaches before Tuberville came to Auburn, and they will have success after he leaves - be it this year, next year or 5 years down the road.

Turns out I heavily support Arkansas athletics...do I get a donor card or something?

If he leaves, does AU get fifteen years to rebuild like Bama?

Thanks. I had thought about using that, but then decided Saban doesn't really have loyalty to Bama (or anyone else but himself from what I can tell). Bear and Shug at least had ties to their schools other than money.
Not a slam on Saban, mind you, just was looking for the right examples to frame my comment.

What if Nutt signs a deal with Arkansas that has no buy-out...could LSU then take him leaving Arkansas paying Houston Nutt, Tub's buyout and a new head coach?

If this news is true, Nick Saban is about to become the happiest man on earth. While they are still divisional rivals, he will have the state to himself for a while until someone gets established there.
Got to love the SECW coaching carousel. Next thing you know, Miles will hit Miss St, Saban will head to Auburn and Croom will come here and everyone will just start fresh at a new SECW school.
