Ahhh the "New" Saban argument.
More truth to this than you realize.
The "new" Saban is actually a cloned version of the original. REC made the decision during the 2011 season (with proceeds from recent BCS championships) as each party was growing tired of each other's "shite". The subtle personality changes over the last season have been a give away (celebration after games, referencing Duck Dynasty after A&M game, etc)
Original Saban exited following the 2012 championship game. He traveled in secrecy from Miami to Vegas. He currently resides in an undisclosed portion of the Bellagio with Candy Edwards. He also is a key executive in our shadow government which operates out of Groom Lake. His primary objective is manipulation of the weather to protect the Southern region of the country to which he has an undying passion even in his "absence". Cue Dolly Parton version of "I will always love you" playing in the background..

That would give them and Saban more time to work things out.
Saban's moves in the Auburn game has caused Texas to rethink his hire.
They decided to look at some younger guys who were not showing the early signs of dementia.

Maybe, I don't even know what the hell it is.

You seem a little obsessed with the Alabama football team? Why?

Not sure when he has time to enjoy all of that. He works relentlessly except for a brief week or two each summer.
And with the money he makes, you don't think he can have all those things regardless of where he lives?
Maybe if you didn't keep saying how much you wished it would happen, it might not be such the obsession it's become for you LSU fans. Y'all are holding on more than even the Texas fans.
But thanks for the entertainment!

Well, the old Saban, the one who used LSU as a stepping stone and all his other stops as a HC would leave. But, the new Saban, HC of The University of Alabama will not leave due to his new found sense of community. the tornadoes that ravaged Tuscaloosa had a profound affect on him and his wife and Tuscaloosa is now "Home" to them in a very meaninful way.
He has everything a man of kind can want at his fingertips in TTown. He has been assured by the Administration at Bama that he will always be paid what he's worth in the market. I've heard there is provision that Bama will match any legitimate written offer and he will have at his disposal all the resources for his staff he wants or needs.
In short, Bama will not let money be an issue and he's finally found his "Home" in Tuscaloosa. Sorry dreamy eyed LSU fans he's staying. But continue to promote the negative propaganda about him and how he left LSU for bigger and better, in the end his teams, at Bama, will be kicking LSU arse and your lonely feeling of being hung up wet by him will still haunt you. But hey, you were able to get some cheap shots in on him along the way.
There is a ton of stupidity and mad in your post.

As the expert on that, you should know.

The more posts like this I read from different Bama fans, the more I realize how important it is for many if not most of them to believe that LSU fans still aren't over Saban and either desperately want him back as their coach or are so afraid of him that they'd do anything to get him out of the SEC. They mistake curiosity, a want for entertainment, and playful ribbing by LSU fans for actual emotional investment in the outcome. Then they advise us to "move on" when obviously they're the ones who haven't. Get over it. We don't give a frick whether Saban leaves or not and we certainly don't want him back at LSU. Don't try to justify your desperation by imagining ours. Talk about narcissism.

That might be more believable if LSU fans weren't literally the only ones trying to keep this story alive.

don't know of any gump that is infuriated. 21-0 ..now that will rile up some MFers.

I almost feel sorry for the Gumps. Every year until Saban leaves or retires, they'll have to go through this. For a group that is pretty insecure to start with and has zero else to do to occupy their time, this has to be frustrating.

heard someone on a sports talk show say that if NS does not go to UT then it was be highly unlikely that he would leave Bama as several of the gold standards in CFB have opened up and NS has stayed loyal to Bama and has said he was not leaving..and please don't bring up his comments 8 years ago in Miami..that ship has sailed

With five to go in the game Saban decides to go for it on 4th and one at the Auburn 13. A 13 yard F/G would have put Alabama up by 10, but Saban nixes the cardinal rule of late in the game put your team up by two scores if at all possible. Alabama loses a shot for the SEC West title, a shot at the SEC, and a shot at the BCSC.
Yeah, I'm sure there are no infuriated gumps around.
