Still have to report on Federal tax forms which is more than most state taxes. Not sure this is the win that the state of Miss thinks it is. But does slap the faces of all other state employees.

TL DR but it was not a layup. It was around a 10 foot shot in the paint.
Based on the stat sheet who got credit for the win. Our starter didnt make it out of the 5th.
5 To's in the first 4 plus minutes and only five the rest of the game. A good turn around. FT shooting was good. 6 players scored 3 points or less. Scrappy win
We guaranteed top 4 seed right? Even if we lose the next two?
Bama won 8-7 with having bases loaded and a double play and then a fielders choice preserving the win in the bottom of the 9th. BP was very suspect.

Just walked it off. Bats were silent until late in the game. Run ruled in bottom of 5. I am pretty sure this team is better than St Thomas so I am confused why the offense scored in the first inning only and none after that. Our pitching should keep us in many SEC games this year. Team BA is around 360 after the St Thomas game.

A great pitchers dual as the St Thomas girl gave up only 4 hits but one was a Home run which scored 2. Briski looked great. She had all of her pitches workng.
OUr bats looked horrible with a few subs in who wont see much action. Duch now has a BA of 125.

Bama is dead last in team BA and third from bottom on team ERA. So someone who is a spin master please tell me we are going to be good when SEC plays starts.. We will be lucky to get to 10 wins in SEC play.

Apparently we bit the weiny in the second half and scored under 40 points. 7 turnovers between two players out of a total of 12. We had more TO's then made free throws.

down bigly. Playing our first team with a pulse on the road and down 12-4. We barely beat Samford the other day 3-2 and an SEC beat the brakes off them the other day.
A few years ago USM played a new pitcher every inning and shut us down good. It seems they are doing the same thing tonight

Started at 4. I just made a comment. Not passing judgement but Murph has always been able to draw crowds. Either way it was a horrible turn out. Carry on. Best start in a while with a true number 1 pitcher and I would have thought they would come out. Just leave early if it gets too cold.
