I keep hearing Tenuta is an arse but I think we already have enough warm and fuzzy coaches. Bring on the a-hole! I thought there was a thread earlier about Coach O taking a job at Tennessee (some quarterback luncheon or something)? Did that turn out to be more rumor?

Tenuta and Coach O would be Good times.

Crowton and Koenning are friends from their time as head coaches in the MWC.

Koenning was on staff at Memphis when Larry Porter was a player.

Les Miles gauged his interest before we hired Pelini, but apparently Koenning didn't want the quick turnaround since he just signed on at Clemson. Miles called again last year after Pelini left.

judging a coach based on 1 game is an incredibly smart thing to do. No really

I agree but it is the only game to compare the existing staff and this individual. And is it a stretch to say the SEC has better offenses overall than the ACC?

So you are saying that you would rather Malveto

not at all, I would enjoy watching Chavis as DC and coach O DL/Recruiting coordinator if at all possible. Possibly Coach O take over if Fulmer gets another job cause Chavis would follow him.

pretty terrible comparisons as Bama and DC are pretty much the only teams we play that dont run the spread

the defensive scheme under pelini and malveto performed fairly well against more traditional offenses...but the spread is what killed us, and we play far more spread teams

not claiming the comparisons are perfect, but they are the only 2 teams that both teams had in common this year.
