Let’s not forget the “Rebel” stigma. The little Klan school in Mississippi that needs some dark players to compete with its peers.
LSU, through its successes has nationwide appeal and gets better TV ratings which puts players in front of that audience. Players in the NCAA either come for the payout for a dying career or as an audition for a Sunday job.
At the end of the day, Jimmy Sexton and Kiffin are trolling the frick out of LSU and Florida to get contract leverage over OM. I personally hope they shakedown their boosters to do so to the detriment of their NIL budget.
