I actually think in the NIL era he could end up being great. He’s a great play caller but hated recruiting. But dont think he’s a good fit for LSU or any top tier job. If he can find a mid level position with decent NIL support, he could do some damage.

He'll just lazily throw money at players who aren't that good and will frustrate fans with his half arse results.
Point and case, on UNLV forums they complain about the lack of talent in the trenches and how many of the P4 transfers he took in turned out to not contribute.
I honestly think he'll get fired from UNLV before year 5 if he doesn't fool some bigger program to hire him away.

LSU is too big a job for him. It was the same at UF. State and UNLV are within his wheelhouse.
