My "inside sources" are talking about the coaching position as well. Down in Bayou Sorrell and White Castle, sitting on the front porch swing looking at the pirogue my uncle dug out of a cypress tree (he did a really great job on it).
Uncle Sonny Boy (never attended LSU or dontated any $, but he has a strong opinion on everything)says the next coach at LSU oughta be one of Huey Long's grandchildren bc the Longs "just do things right".
Calvin Mendoza (I've only met the man a few times in my life, but my father has quoted him and his sources since I can remember on every topic under the sun) says Saban will never come back to be the head coach at LSU.
My father says he could give a rat's @$$ who the next coach is. He is still screaming for equality and justice since he claims Doug Moreau uses his position of power to keep those criminals suited up and on the sidelines each week. (My father actually has given large amounts of $ to LSU over the years. He has only attended LSU to see graduations and sporting events). Something must have happened between my dad and Moreau. Maybe Doug hit on my mom when she was a co-ed at LSU, bc my dad finds a way to steer every conversation about LSU football towards Calvin Mendoza and Doug Moreau.
Uncle Joe Fontenot says the big guys at Shell Oil are all saying Spurrier is the guy. (To which my father responds, much like the barbers in the barber shop on Coming To America, "LSU aint gettin no Steve Spurrier").
Mr. Vadrine (who owns/operates the Bayou Bait Shop and has a masters degree in microbiology oddly enough) says LSU should take a look at Plaquemine High's head coach, he seems like a nice guy. He stops by the bait shop on Sunday mornings and fills Mr. Vadrine in on the Devil's season. (To which my father chimes in about how Plaquemine High aint had nothing since Brian Mitchell went pro).
Great bunch of men.

Oh, that "ChopperSaint" item is a direct, verbatim rip-off...err quote from Mike Scarborough (posted on TB.com last night).
are you saying that last night Mike S. said del rio was coming to LSU?
not he thought del rio would want to come, or be interested, or anything else....Mike S said last night del rio was leaving J'ville to coach at LSU?

why isn't BamaScoop on here? he claims that he 'might know Saban' and that he works for a prominant athletic surgeon in Bama (james andrews, anyone?)
