I don't think he's leaving, but if he did go to UT it wouldn't take him long to win a natty.

Starting a complete noob at QB
He started a "noob" at QB in 2009 and 2011. You remember how that worked out right?

If they offer ten million and Alabama comes back with 8.5, Alabama probably keeps him.
FALSE.
That's a difference of 1.5 million a year + NO STATE INCOME TAX.

McElroy got lucky with the Cody block and Colt McCoy getting hurt.
We all know how lucky McCarron has been, but he is the top of the chain with those 3. Ranking my Bama QBs
1. Croyle
2. McCarron
3. Namath
4. McElroy
5. Wilson

Alabama legislature will waive his need to pay state income tax .

If he stays at Bama, he will have a pretty bad year next year. Starting a complete noob at QB will lead to Saban having a meltdown for not going to Texas
Saban has had two "noobs" starting at QB during his tenure at Bama, one in 2009 and one in 2011. Both of those years turned out ok.

He left a state with no income tax to go to Alabama in the first place.
And took an initial pay cut.

The decision is already made. I think we can all agree on that.

To be fair, this probably was the first time you heard me accused of being "scared" that Saban was leaving Alabama.
These threads were so much more fun when the only crazies were on the Crimson Tide side.
